I've decided to debut my entire 2008 collection here which is full of new designs and old favorites! I've spent the past year creating new dresses in my studio so keep watching for all of my beautiful dresses right here! Deconstructress Designs are all individually crafted custom costume couture. Most are created from deconstructed wedding gowns and some are created from scratch. Each dress is painstakingly created by hand-painting, dyeing, cuttins, sewing, adding and removing. Individual gowns take anywhere from hours to months to create. Every detail is considered when creating a costume based on a specific character. Most importantly, each costume is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. These dresses are all handpainted with a specially ordered and hand mixed painting process. The coloring is permanent and the gowns can saely be dry cleaned, Listings will begin to appear on Ebay September 15th and more will be added until October 27th. The costume embodies Emily in all her gory beauty. The DressYour custom made gown will be made of either silk or satin. It all depends on the size and style of dress you would like. The strapless bodice will be embellished with beading and appliques. It will be painted with a rich blue shade that drips and gradiates all over the dress, just like Emily's. A rip in the bodice will expose realistic latex ribs. The skirt will have a ripped slit in the front and a carefully "shredded" train. You can choose to have the swirls painted onto the train or not. The Headpiece and VeilThe headpiece will be a crown of dried black twigs and small blue flowers. The veil wraps around the headpiece and is attached to a comb to stay secure. The veil is full-length tulle with handpainted black swirls. The WigThe wig is a long, black and blue synthetic wig. It has a slight wave. This dress will be made to order for your measurements. It will take ten days (maximum) to complete and ship. If you need it by a particular date, please let me know prior to ordering to make sure I can get it to you in time.
