Description
Egyptian Pharoah Crown Upper Lower Egypt Headdress Up for bid is the crown of Pharoah representing Upper & Lower Egypt. It is constructed of varaform which was worked into the design of the gold upper and the red lower portions of the two halves of Egypt in the dynasty of Rameses.  The crown was handmade and sculpted by me for a production of AIDA. It sits atop the head in typical crown style  ~ it was designed to gently sit atop the head, so it has combs and horsehair inside to keep it in place on stage.   There are stones along the front and back, and an Egyptian design  has been painted on the top of the crown for additional visual interest. Measurements: N/A crown sits on top of head.Statement: This item is in excellent, as new condition.  Caveat: This is a stage worn piece, and as such, it might have other imperfections that come with time that were not readily evident upon inspection.  If you’re worried about anything specific, please ask me to check as I can’t be responsible for what I didn’t see if you don’t ask.   I currently accept payment in US Currency via PAYPAL ONLY. Shipping charges are never refundable. Payment is expected within 48 HOURS of auction's end, unless bidder has contacted me to make other arrangements. If a return request is made within 24 hours of receipt of the item, it will be considered provided 1) Buyer agrees to pay return shipping, 2) the item must be returned in exactly the same condition in which it was shipped, and 3) Buyer agrees to pay a 15% restocking fee. If you do not contact me within 72 hours, your bid will be cancelled and the item will be subject to relisting or sold as a second-chance offer. Please communicate with me promptly, so I know you are interested in concluding the sale, or am aware of any problems you may have encountered subssequent to the auction's end. IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON BUYING IT, PLEASE DON'T BID ON IT. PLEASE SEE EBAY'S "ABOUT ME" FOR CURRENT OR UPCOMING SHIPPING HOLIDAYS ~ DOMESTIC SHIPPING NOTES TO BUYERS: I am responsible for getting the package in the mail promptly. I am also responsible for proving that a package was shipped if it does not arrive. I use delivery confirmation for all items shipped (within the U.S.) I am not responsible for damage or loss by Post Office during shipping. It is also the case that things are almost never lost by the post office. (Damaged, yes, lost, very rarely). Insurance is optional. If you don't purchase insurance, damage in transit will be at your own risk. IF A PARTICULAR AUCTION DOES NOT SPECIFY SHIPPING, OR SAYS THAT SHIPPING IS "NOT OFFERED" FOR DOMESTIC PARCELS, IT IS AN ERROR. IF YOU WISH TO REQUEST SHIPPING, PLEASE DO SO BEFORE CHECKOUT, AND I WILL PROVIDE AN UPDATED INVOICE THAT REFLECTS INSURANCE. I ship USPS PRIORITY MAIL & USPS PRIORITY MAIL FLAT RATE, whichever is the most economical. I use non-flat rate Priority Mail for parcels I know weigh less than or up to 1lb (provided the piece is not oversized, such as a hat). Both these methods include delivery confirmation in the price without any additional charge to Buyers. DOMESTIC Buyers Instructions: PLEASE USE EBAY CHECKOUT (unless I have specific instructions to the contrary in a particular auction) INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTES TO BUYERS: CANADIAN/INTERNATIONAL Buyers? Instructions: PLEASE DO NOT USE EBAY CHECKOUT email first for a shipping quote & to see if I can ship to your location. If I can get it to you, I will certainly try! There will be a $4.00 handling charge for required hand delivery to post office, and completion of necessary customs forms, etc. Please note that USPS First Class Airmail is the most cost effective way of shipping your goods, ranging from an average of $15-20.00. While I am happy to accommodate buyers and ship via this method, by requesting it, Buyer acknowledges that I am unable to track these packages if using this method, and therefore cannot guarantee delivery. US Air Mail is extremely reliable, and the risk is minimal, but I am unwilling to take it on personally. THEREFORE BUYER'S REQUESTING AIR MAIL SHIPMENT OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AGREE THAT BY DOING SO THEY ARE HOLDING SELLER HARMLESS FOR LOST OR DAMAGES PARCELS/PACKAGES. NOTE: US FIRST CLASS AIR MAIL IS UNAVAILABLE FOR ITEMS WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF 4LBS OR COSTING IN EXCESS OF $100 - THESE MUST BE SHIPPED VIA A PRIORITY MAIL METHOD. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE US AIR MAIL: 1) There will be no refunds for goods lost in transit which were properly addressed. 2) Proof of address will be provided to International Buyer upon request, which must be made prior to parcel's being posted. 3) Address to be used must be the address registered with paypal. WHEN USING International Priority Mail, the United States Postal Service charges vary between $25-35.00 on average. $35.00 is the flat rate for up to 20 lbs of goods which fit into USPS Flat Rate boxes. In this time of heightened security, international shipping presents some difficulties not previously present, so I apologize in advance, for any international for whom this presents difficulty. I will combine multiple purchases for reduced shipping, only if items purchased can be packed together in a single box. To qualify for combined shipping, purchases must be made within 10 days of each other. Please let me know if you are planning on bidding for another of my items, so I can compute shipping costs and advise you of any reduction in cost. I will only ship to the address, or addresses, registered with Paypal.PLEASE READ, IF YOU BID YOU HAVE ACCEPTED THE FOLLOWING TERMS - BIDDING IS A CONTRACT!: I generally cannot accept returns unless the item is marked as having a return policy. My items are offered as part of a GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE, and my storage is quite literally shrinking, thus MOST SALES ARE FINAL ~ Returns will however, be considered if an item was misrepresented or under unusual circumstances. Please see the return terms policy. Please email me immediately upon receipt of your goods if you have an unexpected problem or other question. If this item is for personal use, and only a size is provided---ask for measurements. I must caution that fit can never be guaranteed. Even the best of measurements may not always match an individual's figure, and are not always a guarantee an item will fit to the Buyer's satisfaction. I urge all bidders to examine the photos and descriptions carefully and to email me with any questions or concerns for clarification, I want you to be happy, and that is best achieved if everyone knows in advance what to expect... Please DO NOT BID if these terms are unacceptable PLEASE contact me prior to leaving negative feedback, I can work with any reasonable request. Ebay has adopted some fairly unfriendly policies for the small time seller, and any disparities in feedback might effectively put me out of business. Please think about that before leaving anything less than 5-star feedback. Ridiculous as it seems, everything is based on the "buyer's perfect experience" and small sellers like myself are being asked to compete with giant corporations in maintaining similar Buyer satisfaction. Gone are the days of the wonderful person to person internet exchange flea market that was Ebay's signature gift to the on-line community. I began buying on Ebay in 1997 and have only recently begun to attempt to venture into the Sellers' community, and I have to say the experience has been somewhat disheartening. I will always try to be fair and to describe the items I offer accurately, so bid with assurance. I have been a Theatrical Costumer for 17 years. I am selling much of my vast costume-related stock in order to clear out my stock room. Many of these items have starred in shows over the years, and have lovely stories to tell. Some were designed & made by myself, others were made by other talented artists. Many were purchased for their unique visual appeal. Some are even brand spanking new, as for whatever reason they could not be used for their original purpose. Either the director didn't approve them, or the garment didn't work on a specific actor. Occasionally I will even throw in an item of contemporary designer wear I've purchased for myself. I have just begun adding vintage and stage costume jewelry to the mix. Check back frequently to see what's new!! All items are from a smoke free home. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! I attempt to accurately describe all items. However, if you don?t communicate with me before bidding, I can?t give you the information that you may need to be a satisfied customer. If you would like to contact me quickly, feel free to use my email angelalazear@sbcglobal.net. You may also use Ebay's messaging system, and I will respond as quickly as I can, but when I am at work, it is difficult to check them more than once or twice a day.
