It has been packed into it's designer tote, which you can see in the photos.  The barre has only a couple small marks on it. The barre is made of lightweight, white aluminum.  It is 4/12 feet long.  The top barre is 42 1/2 inches tall, and the lower barre is 31 1/2 inches tall.  It is easy to put together with double snap-in locks.  The pedestal has nonskip feet.  It comes with a very nice designer tote, which makes it easy to carry.  The tote has a couple small scuff marks on the back.  The front is nicely embroidered "En Pointe PortaBarre".  It is a very, very nice barre and tote bag.
