A rare find, from a small estate sale here in Maine Exquisitely ornate, completely hand crocheted, two piece dress, probably a young woman's wedding dressVery feminine style, typical of the times, includes a pigeon breasted bodice with a high neckline, and very full skirt with a small train Crocheted overall with a multitude of three dimensional designs Measurements are as follows: Waist is 25", bust area is 39", bodice back length is 22", neck circumference is 14-15". Full sleeves are 21 1/2" long. Beautiful full skirt is 184" around!! Front length is 46 1/2" while the back length is 52" There are no buttons or other methods of closure. Perhaps it was never worn. Condition is excellent and very wearable, lace is strong with very little if any need of repair, no rot Clean, odor free, has been packed away. Has a few areas of slight yellowing which would launder out.
