Vintage XX WIDE GOLD METAL BRASS WOOD STONE Belt' Description This is THE MOST AWESOME Belt that I have listed this week. I have never found one like this one. It is hand forged BRASS metal with a HUGE "stone" in the center. The front, sides and back of the belt are narrow pieces of wood. I am unsure of what the material the "stone" is...it may be a plastic or bone. But it seems unlikely that plastic would be used with all the hand detailing of the belt. The center of the belt is 4.25" wide. The belt has SIX wooden sections on EACH side. Each one getting slightly narrower than the previous one. The belt will fit waists of 31.5". You could make it smaller by removing one section of wood. This would fit waists of 26.5". FANTASTIC vintage condition. The only tiny flaw that I found was that ONE of the wooden pieces had a tiny crack on one side only. It doesn't go all the way around the wooden piece....it may just be a scratch. It is SO minor. Please check the measurements carefully as they are accurate and I do not accept returns for fit. Excellent vintage condition.
