The watersnake has a glossy wet look. This is the best color combination I've ever seen- a cuoio, dark brown, red, a dark purplish burgundy, and green. Zip front closure. Burgundy lining. Made in London. Beautiful fit. Labeled a vintage size 12. Would fit a modern day approx. UK 10 OR US 6. Measurements are as follows; 15" shoulders, 34" bust, 29" waist. Good condition for it's age, especially considering the fact that it's made of this delicate pieced snakeskin. As shown in the photos, the body of the jacket looks great for the most part. Mostly on the sleeves, there are a few small spots where the scales are flaking off or places where it's just splitting (see close up of sleeve). On the top of the left sleeve there is what looks like a cigarette burn that someone tried to repair w/ some splitting above. At the bottom of one of the sleeves it is coming apart right at the seam about 1/2"-this can be repaired though, as someone has already detached the lining here. All that would need to be done is the sleeve re-sewn along that seam and the lining reattached with a hand stitch as it originally was. Jacket still has lots of life left but should be stored safely and only brought out for going out at night or special occasions ...as it is a very special, delicate piece. **Please note I'm offering free shipping for domestic *and* international bidders.
